My strength is knowing a little bit of everything well and how to do it efficiently. While better coders, copy editors, photo re-touchers and internet marketers always exist, you‘ll be hard-pressed to find one person to replace me or knowledgeable and organized enough to pick and manage a scalable team. Knowing how to manage everything today is relatively easy once a good system is set up, the challenge of thriving online is knowing which direction you should be moving in the months & years ahead. I have been building and managing web presences for small businesses and working with digital technology for the past 22 years.

The most important thing you need to know about me is whether my current portfolio and capabilities match your needs—not what a website I built 18 years ago looks like (I have one that still exists), where I went to college (Brown), or whether I like dogs (sometimes more than people). If we aren’t the right match, I’ll be honest with you. I don't say 'yes' to something just because it means more money.

Working with clients remotely is not an issue—even if you live 15 minutes away, it's usually more efficient to communicate electronically. Current clients are located in NYC, Boston, Raleigh, Charlotte, Santa Monica, Miami, Rhode Island and Nevis.

I'm also a decent painter (the worthless kind, I can't paint your walls), but let's leave it at that. I've found it confuses people today to imagine that one person can be good a two things. My web clients don't believe I have time to do anything else, and my art clients like to believe I paint full-time. My secret is being organized, not having kids, and working long but rewarding days.
